Breast Cancer Awareness

My mom died of Breast Cancer in the year 2000 on Thanksgiving Day. The family was at the hospital with a set up for a potluck Thanksgiving in the hospital's ICU where she was fighting for her life. Side Note: She never smoked a day in her life. It was the worst day of my life, yet the best day of hers being able to be with God that day. She was 56 years old while I was 28. She was my everything at that point in my life. There are many great things I can say about her being sweet to everyone she met, to always being there for anyone when they needed her. She was a Christian, of course, but I rarely saw her attend church. She knew she had to raise us alone, but God was always in our lives. She is and always will be the greatest inspiration in my life aside from Jesus. 

While Breast Cancer took my Mom too soon, there have been other family members die with Breast Cancer. Some family members have had it and survived. 

This collection means a lot more that just spreading awareness of the horrible disease. It touches my heart in many ways than one. I know there are millions of people who are affected by it. It is with pleasure to create designs that coincide with Praying for a Cure and Celebrating the people who have SURVIVED!

I TRULY BELIEVE God places things on our heart for a reason. When you purchase one of these designed shirts from me, just remember you are not alone. God has a plan and gives us strength through others. 

I am in the process of locating a foundation that is TRULY researching a way to cure this disease. When you purchase a shirt, you are making it possible for me to work hard on finding a place to donate from the sales. When I find a place, I will announce it on my website so everyone can see how much was raised and which place gets the funds. So stay tuned to see where this takes us.
